State Fair Regatta was a major success today with 49 boats competing. Nice September day with 15ish breeze and gusts to 20. Results

Rock the Rock 2020 was a huge success!  With modifications this year for Covid precautions, we were able to create a safe and fun one-day event.  63 juniors competed representing: Austin Yacht Club, Fort Worth Boat Club, Grapevine Sailing Club, Lakewood Yacht Club, Oklahoma City Boat Club, Rush Creek Yacht Club and Viridian Sailing Center. Best of all, 18 juniors represented CSC this year!

Roland Foerster is in the captured screenshot; Bonnie Foerster is in blue in the first shot inside the clubhouse. The lady in the yellow top with pigtails is Jim Sahleh. The gentleman in the suit is Len Aubuchon, who was commodore at the time. I'll update this list as we identify more people.

 A video conference community meeting was held by the parks department and water utilities on July 16 to review the draft results of the lake dredging feasibility study and obtain community feedback. The first sessions have been successfully completed and we are half way through the second sessions. In spite of face masks and social distancing, all seem to be having and good time and learning a lot. There are still a few slots available in the 3rd session that starts July 13. This a 2 week general camp that is suitable for all skill levels. Click title to see more.
