CSC hosted the 2023 US Sailing Championship of Champions Regatta 10/20-22 in Dragonflite 95 boats. 12 competitors completed 16 races in light winds. Peter Feldman, the current Dragonflite 95 national champion, won the event. CSC's Robert Cummings placed 9th overall; he qualified for the regatta as the current Flying Scot Master's Champion. CSC FALL ADULT SAILING LESSONS
All adults 18 and up interested in learning to sail are invited to our fall sessions of lessons Monday's and Thursdays starting at 6:30pm September 7th-25th. Learn the basics of sailing, meet new people, experience White Rock Lake like never before.Lessons are lead by experienced sailors and you will have hands on experience from day 1.
Cost is $50

CSC's Tyler Dodson, sailing with Unified Partner Bob Westlake from White Rock Sailing Club, won a silver medal at the 2023 Special Olympics World Games in Berlin. Tyler and Bob trained in Flying Scots here, but sailed an RS Venture in Berlin, They competed as a Level 2 team, meaning Tyler was the skipper with Bob as his crew.
Tyler also competed in the 2019 World Games in Abu Dhabi, where he also won a Silver medal with Roland Foerster as his crew.

The Corinthian Sailing Club was invited to participate in the Texas Challenge at Lakewood Yacht Club in Kemah. Four sailors, Tom Miller, Paul Miller, Mark Babb and Rachel Mittman, represented CSC to sail against nine other Texas yacht clubs in RS 21s. CSC was well represented with a 4th place finish in 25 - 35 mph wind conditions. Thanks to CSC for the support and we look forward to next year.
