The Flying Scot is a 19' sloop rigged boat with a main, jib and spinnaker. The boat weighs 850 pounds. With a crew of two or three, the Flying Scot is a stable, fast boat ideal for both Sunday racing and family daysailing.

The Corinthian Sailing Club was invited to participate in the Texas Challenge at Lakewood Yacht Club in Kemah. Four sailors, Tom Miller, Paul Miller, Mark Babb and Rachel Mittman, represented CSC to sail against nine other Texas yacht clubs in RS 21s. CSC was well represented with a 4th place finish in 25 - 35 mph wind conditions. Thanks to CSC for the support and we look forward to next year.

Access to the White Rock Lake will be closed this Sunday until 4:15pm, due to the Dallas Marathon. Accordingly, races this Sunday have been cancelled.

CSC’s annual awards banquet was held at Maggino’s last night. The food, drink and program were all outstanding. Fleet highlights and winning sailors were presented by fleet captains. Mark Mihm, CSC Commadore, presented the annual awards to the following:
