Roland Foerster is in the captured screenshot; Bonnie Foerster is in blue in the first shot inside the clubhouse. The lady in the yellow top with pigtails is Jim Sahleh. The gentleman in the suit is Len Aubuchon, who was commodore at the time. I'll update this list as we identify more people.

 A video conference community meeting was held by the parks department and water utilities on July 16 to review the draft results of the lake dredging feasibility study and obtain community feedback. The 2020 Commodore's Cup and July 4th Party have both been cancelled. They have also fallen victim to COVID-19 virus. See you in 2021.

The new kitchen was installed in the club house this week. It is just outstanding and should serve the club well. This is just part of the many improvements that Mark Mihm has made to the club over the last year or so. We have tried to capture the current state of the club facilities in the Club History in the Facilities 2020 section.

The commodore shares some very good news. Today, the Dallas Park and Recreation Board approved our proposal to open up our club for racing/recreational sailing and our sailing education programs for both juniors and adults!    These new rules take effect immediately.  June 4, 2020

A new club website was launched on June 4. Our old club website had been in use for over 20 years and was becoming difficult to maintain and needed to fresh new face. Also, our members are migrating from desktop computers to smart phones and tablets to access the site which was difficult to use from a portable device. The new site was developed to address all the concerns.
